Acoustic recordings

Acoustic songs and written verses

A living room song catalog documented directly from notebook margins, tape decks, and resonant wooden instruments.

Selected works

Three featured recordings

Open D Tuning

North Country Pines

Traced from three verses written in a pocket ledger. Fingerpicked spruce guitar recorded with a single ribbon microphone straight to warm quarter-inch tape.

Standard Tuning

Late Train to Hudson

A quiet waltz chronicling winter commutes along the riverbank. Layered with felted upright piano chords, subtle room decay, and uncompressed room vocals.

DADGAD Tuning

Low Tide at Dawn

Composed at daybreak overlooking coastal salt marshes. Features an open drone tuning paired with bowed acoustic cello and distant room ambiance.

Recording method

Tape decks and paper margins

Every song in this catalog was tracked live in an open living room, capturing the scrape of fingers against roundwound bronze strings and natural timber acoustics. Nothing is pitch-corrected or pushed against digital ceiling limiters.

Complete lyric manuscripts, chord diagrams, and alternate tunings are documented for each piece. If you play acoustic guitar or piano, these transcriptions invite you to make the arrangements your own.
